Traber Davis Giardina, PhD, MSW

Dr. Traber Giardina is a patient safety researcher at the Houston VA Center of Innovations in Quality, Effectiveness, and Safety (IQuESt) and an assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine. Her research agenda focuses on understanding patients’ and families' experiences of safety events, primarily diagnostic errors. Dr. Giardina was recently awarded an AHRQ K01 career development award to do develop a patient-centered diagnostic error reporting system.
